I first purchased it during a visit to the United States in 2017. However, my recent experience with this product has left me feeling quite disappointed.
The most significant change I noticed is the reformulation of the mask. I initially thought they had reverted to the formula I fell in love with years ago, but unfortunately, this was not the case. The original product had a certain magic to it - it felt refreshing, cleansing, and left my skin feeling rejuvenated and clarified. This new version, however, falls short of capturing that same essence.
In summary, I must admit that I'm quite let down by the changes made to SheaMoisture's African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Beauty Mask. It no longer lives up to the standards set by its previous formula, and it feels like a significant step backward. While it is still a decent mask for some mild cleansing, it falls short of being exceptional.
