It instantly helps existing diaper rash but also provides great preventative protection, since it creates a very thick barrier. Aquaphor is also known to have good ingredients for use with kids.

This has a thick consistency and you need an oil base cleanser to remove it but this really helps the irritated skin a lot. And works as a good barrier from skin chafing.
