The mask is packed in jars made of dense quality plastic of a beautiful purple shade and closed with a silver screw cap, with a protective membrane underneath. I suppose to save on packaging while preserving and improving the quality of the product itself, its composition, the manufacturer does not seal the jar hermetically with anything.
ANDALOU bioactive 8 berry fruit enzyme mask has a very pleasant smell, sweet-sour, fruity, invigorating even. The consistency is homogeneous and light jelly-like scent. If I didn't know it was a face mask, I would have decided to taste it, so keep it away from babies.
To apply the mask, I usually use a clear plastic spoon left over from the patches. For the sake of convenience and better performance of the product, most often I apply it after a shower, on a clean, slightly steamed face. I usually spread a medium-thick layer, so the mask does not evaporate during the work and works well. Besides, a mask is not a cream, and I don't see the point in saving too much.
After application, literally 2-3 minutes on the skin feels a slight tingling sensation, indicating the beginning of the enzymes. In salons beauticians cover this kind of masks on top of a food film and put a warm towel, so they work better. According to the instructions on the skin mask should be left for 10-20 minutes. That's what I do. Then I wash off the slightly dried mask with warm water, working with a sponge to wash the hair growth area and the wings of the nose.
ANDALOU bioactive 8 berry fruit enzyme mask is designed to gently release dry, keratinised skin cells. Apple juice restores ph balance, while cranberry juice improves blood circulation and replenishes the skin with moisture. Papaya enzymes purify the skin from toxins.
Already after the first use of the mask you can notice how the skin:
- from dull turned into radiant skin
- tone is much more even
- surface smooth
- cleared of harmful accumulations (I'm talking about skin cells now)
Benefits: the delicate cleansing, and removal of dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. After using it, there is no redness and the skin does not peel. Unlike acids, enzyme masks can be done even in summer.
To the minuses, yes, they exist, I will refer only to the consumption of the product. A 50 gram jar, when I apply a layer of medium thickness, is enough for about 13-15 applications. Not as much as I would like with my average usage frequency.
